Southpaws!

I found this in my inbox this morning. Jack sent it to me.

So let's take a little poll. How many of my readers/and fellow bloggers are lefties? Yes, we are wired differently for sure. I love being left-handed.

  1. I'm one of the "gifted" minority; and as you know; we are the only ones in our right minds!!

  3. Meredith,
Storm is a lefty. He has many of the listed characteristics. I would say he has all of them except for obsessive and emotional. I just asked him to read this list. Laughing already. I told him I was wondering if "stubborn" was going to be on that list and I said, "Because I have recently decided you are stubborn." Storm, "No, I'm not," emphatically stated. I look at him, "YES, you are!" He bursts out laughing. He said that just to be exasperating, witty, surprising and original.

I also see a lot of these characteristics in you as well even though we have known each other for a relatively short time. We packed a lot into that short time though.

Cute and interesting post, our little left handed friend. Hugs! Windy

    2. M,
He writes, eats, and shoots pool lefty. But, all sports are right-handed. So, he says he spanks with his right hand like he would swing a racket in sports. Laughing.... However, when it comes to the finer dexterity that is required to please his wife like he did so recently in my car post .... he's ALWAYS a lefty. :) W

  4. Love the list of Lefty characteristics, Mere. Our older son is left-handed, and when he wanted to learn to cut with scissors, he had no patience with my help. So I hired an older Southpaw boy down the block to teach my little guy. He worked for chocolate chip cookies.

    1. Ella,
However, I could never make those lefty scissors work ever.

  7. My hubby is a lefty. I agree with Windy. He hits all the characteristics except emotional and obsessive.

  8. I think that most of us reading this blog just might be wired a little differently, and it has nothing to do with being a leftie!
I happen to be a rightie but I live with a leftie that fits this bill to a ‘t’, I will be passing it along.
Thanks for sharing what Jack shared with you.

  10. Did he say which aspects of it he agreed with for you? I might take it offensively if my husband told me I was infuriating and exasperating. ;) I am a right handed person, but my father in law is a lefty. I do not find this description fits his quiet personality at all. :) :)

  14. I am a Lefty who can eat with chopsticks either way (left or right handed). Years ago when I was teaching, I showed my classes how left handers feel - the classroom had been painted, and when I put the pencil sharpener up, I rotated it so the handle was on the other side. They were frustrated!
