From Across The Pond, Jan And Ronnie Are Up

From across the pond, Ronnie and Jan asked great questions.

Jan wanted to know if I was ever going to come to England for a visit. I have been to England three times and aside from the driving situation, I loved every single minute of it. I did not do the driving. Jack did well driving except for almost getting us killed on the first and last days of our two weeks in England and Scotland. Yes, Jan, I will come to visit. Katie and I have talked about it many times and one day we will do just that. I really want to have tea and
biscuits, tea and scones, tea and crumpets with you. We will sit, sip and laugh. Hey, when are you going to visit the states and all of us?

Ronnie asked two questions. She wanted to know what scares me about ttwd and what I find most gratifying about ttwd. She also wanted to know that if cost was not considered, where in the world would I like to travel.

Ttwd is never ever scary to me. I am never afraid when a spanking is coming. Above all else, I know Jack loves me. He spanks just enough to achieve his beloved peace plus a little more he always says. I sometimes fear that I share too much here. I want my identity protected. The people who know me from blog land I trust. I am not so afraid about any of that now. I have stated the best parts of ttwd many times....... after a long successful marriage, we were slipping into that stale mode and this ttwd changed all that. Who could ask for anything more!

The travel part is easy. We began saving and investing when we were young and it was hard to do. Compound interest and investing are wonderful. We have traveled to many places. There are some places that I really do not have any interest seeing. We have been to the quaint, the exotic and the wild. If I could just go again, right now, I would come have tea and some clotted cream scones with the two of you.

Thank you for your questions,

  1. Hi Meredith, It would be lovely to see you over here. I have been to America, we went to New York for a week about ten years ago and we went to Vegas as son number one and the dil got married at the Bellagio. We stayed in the MGM grand and had a fab week. On the whole I am a rubbish traveller, much prefer to be at home.
    love Jan, xx

  2. Hi Meredith, I was born in England and am the only family member who hasn't been back since we moved to New Zealand so I would dearly love to make it there. A trip with Katie sounds awesome!

I would also love to visit America, though think maybe we should give it say 4 years lol

  3. Thanks for sharing, Mere. I really think all y'all ought to come to the Midwest...central location and lots of fun things to do. :)

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

  4. That would be wonderful you and Katie visiting our friends in England. Wish I could join you all.
    Hugs Lindy xx

  5. Thanks for answering my questions Meredith. America is on my bucket list so maybe one day.

It would be great to have tea and scones with you and Katie.

    Happy Easter.

  6. Always love to hear from our friends from Across the Pond. A visit there is always at the top of my list. As far and you, Jack, and travel, I think the bigger question would be...

    "Where haven't you been?"

    Hugs From Ella

  7. Remember to do the scones the Cornish way - jam first, then cream!
