Love Our Lurkers

It is that time of year once again. We bloggers invite you to take a chance and dare to make a comment. It is our annual Love Our Lurkers Day celebrated each November. Please leave a comment.

I was once a lurker and then one day, I jumped right it. Everyone was so welcoming. Give it a try. You can comment anonymously. I would love to hear what you have to say.

If commenting is far too scary, please send me an email at I look forward to hearing from you.

I sincerely thank you for reading my blog and hope that our journey is of interest to you.

How about I ask an easy question:

What is your life motto?

Use the comment section and I will add mine at the very end.

  1. Happy LOL day Meredith. Hope you have lots of new people come by to say Hi and delurk.
I have many mottos but one of mine is Live life to the fullest!

My motto is - Just be yourself.

  5. Happy LoL Day Meredith, hope you "meet" a lot of silent readers today.

I think my motto right now at least would have to be life' too short lol.

  6. Good morning, my motto...Each day is a gift! hugs abby

  7. Hi, M,
Happy LOL Day to you! One of my mottos is, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger!"

  8. Meredith,
You are most humble, but you should always know how you inspire people. That is a rare gift. It seems like LOL Day is just the perfect time to tell you that.

My motto would be "Love isn't in the Falling, it's in the Staying There."

    Your Friend,

  9. I have three: Kindness true to yourself...follow your heart...
Thank-you for you! Have a great LOL day

  10. It's the golden rule for me - treat everyone the way you would like to be treated.
    Glad you're here Mere.

  11. Hi Meredith! I wrote to you for many months a few years ago. I am an introvert by nature, and needed to pull back as I felt overwhelmed. I still read your blog all the time. My favorite posts are always when you open up and share about a struggle. I just wanted to thank you for being my friend back then. Tom and I are very well, and continue to grow in our version of TTWD. I know I disappeared abruptly, and I hope you didn't worry. You asked for a motto - my favorite is "You create your relationship EVERY day." Thanks again Meredith. Your friend always, Lila

  12. Hi Meredith! :) Happy LOL Days! I always enjoy reading here, about your adventures with your loving man, Jack!

I'm thinking that you know exactly what I am going to write for my motto! ABK! (Always Be Kind). LOL!

I hope that you have wonderful LOL Days! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Thanks for being you! Many hugs and love,

    <3 Katie

  13. Happy LOL day! Yes, I, too, once was a lurker and this blog was one I frequented the most due to the openess and honesty that was present. I am glad I stayed and now enjoy a nice friendship as a benefit. I have two sayings. What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. And..poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. Keep on posting Meredith, I take away something special every time I read.

  14. Nice to meet you! I just found your blog and have greatly enjoyed reading your last few posts. I'm happy to have a new blog to follow.

  15. Happy LOL Day!!! :)

  16. Hi Meredith, I visit often but never seem to have the right words to say. But today is easy..Happy LOL day.
    Motto: be simple as that

  17. "Get away with what you can and deal with the consequences if you get caught!" Meredith, I do love reading here - I hope you know that.

  18. Happy LOL Days, Mere! Hope you get many new visitors! Motto? I don't have just one...I do have more than a few! "It's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission." ;) "A day without a smile is a day without sunshine." "Treat others the way you want to be treated." "Don't judge!" "Walk a mile in someone else's might then begin to understand them." I could keep going. LOL

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

  19. Mere,,just had to comment,,,hope you get alot of new friends. Motto,,,,, love always melts a heart,so keep loving.

  20. Hi ya lady! Happy Lurkers day! Always read here!
My motto is always try and understand why someone does or feels as they do!

  21. You have been very kind to respond to various emails and I am so sorry that I'm so awkward and uncomfortable. Wish I knew what to do about htat. Sigh. I think my life motto is probably "It is what it is." I try hard to remind myself that sometimes things just are the way they are and I can't change them so I may as well deal. Mostly this is concerning having an adult child with special needs. Complicated life. In any case, I look forward to reading what your life motto is and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing your blog and sharing with such honesty. Be well.

  22. Hi Meredith,
I consider myself both a lurker and a commenter. You make it very easy to comment, you've always had such a welcoming vibe and I've always appreciated that about your blog. Thank you.
My motto reap what you sow. What we put out there comes back to us ten fold so I try very hard to keep it all good, as we know actions have consequences both good and bad.......I prefer good!

  23. I'm so glad I came out of lurkdom. And I was Meredith who helped me. My motto is: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Meredith, thanks for being there for us.

  24. Hi Meredith, I love your motto idea. I know that sometimes it should be something like talk is silver, silence is golden. But that never really worked. :) Our family motto is a very simple one, 'never give up'. Simple as it is, it has guided different members of the family in the past, and it definitely has helped me in some not too awesome moments. I can't wait for your motto! Wishing you a lovely weekend and a happy LOL Day!
