When Blogging And Real Life Collide

Real life and blogging collide and the gloom I feel is real. Something like this cannot happen and then it did.  I did not respond. Yesterday I was too numb. Today I am still stunned. I will not face the hate.  I face the love and a hurting country. I am not stating my opinion here on gun control. I have much to say, but this is not the place.

  1. Gun control will not stop those determined to cause harm. This is hate at its worst and absolutely heartbreaking. Prayers for those left behind and the ones recovering from injuries

  2. Guns will always be available to those who seek them - legal or not. Gun control would be just another layer of a false sense of security.
Hate and ignorance cause these things to happen and we can't regulate that. If only

  5. This is so hard to understand. I will say that because news like this can really send my anxiety sky high my guy has told me not to read about it anymore. Still, it is in my head and in my heart and both are hurting for these families, our country, our world. Just so wrong. May their memories be for a blessing.

  6. I am glad you wrote this little post, Meredith. It reminds me of how important it is to let a family grieve over the loss of a loved one. We, as a country, feel the loss of innocent citizens and are devastated by the realization of the hate that exists.

  7. As difficult as it is to talk about a tragedy like Orlando it is so very important to do just that. Those who no longer have a voice need one the most, nothing changes if we are quiet. This post is very important in many ways.

  8. What a world this would become if everyone tried their very best to be ABK (Always be Kind)! I'm a dreamer, I know. Sometimes dreams can become reality.

My heart breaks for the victims of such hatred, and their families. I cannot imagine the terror. SO SAD! Many hugs,
