Spooning with Jack

I do not know about you, but when I am away from my husband, I miss the way we sleep. We often sleep like two spoons, cuddled and happy. It feels so great to be home. Now if only my body would adjust. Starting my day still at 3 am is getting old.

So let's do a little survey. If you sleep with your hubby in a spoon fashion, let us know.

  3. Hi Meredith, :) I sure do hope that you can say bye bye to the jet lag asap!!!

Rob and I spoon on and off through out the night! I love Love LOVE it! The thing is, at times throughout the night, he heats up like a furnace, and this Katie T needs to move back toward her side for a bit... until I am ready for some more cuddling, or need to warm up. LOL!

Sometimes I would like to spoon and Rob is too warm, and he tells me that "we are going to do fork and knife" (consider a place setting- haha) for a bit. He cracks me up! Fun topic! Be rested. Many hugs,

    <3 Katie

  4. Hi Meredith, we do that too. It feels wonderful that way, but it doesn't last long lately because either I have to turn to the other side or go to the bathroom. Next year, when baby is there we'll enjoy more spooning again.
I am sorry that you still have to deal with sleep issues and hope you get over that soon.

    hugs

  5. Oh, yes! We do, too. That jet lag will be over soon, Mere. You're starting to sound like your old self.

  6. Meredith, I am smiling at you again. You still sound like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Maybe it was the Ruby Slippers that took care of that Wicked Jet Lag of the West!

  7. Never liked to spoon too long because I get hot and have to have at least one foot out from underneath the covers. ;)

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

  9. No we don't, never have. He's like a heat furnace, great in the winter not so in the summer. Like Cat, I like have one foot out from under the covers.

  10. We are spooners too. He was able to come home this weekend and the first thing he said was he couldn't wait to cuddle and spoon!

  11. Our spooning usually happens in the early morning hours because I often stay up later and then very quietly go to bed. Our morning cuddling time is treasured time, it happens no matter what.
May regular sleep find you soon.

  12. We do spoon too, always with his hand on my bottom. Eventually though I have to move away to cool off as he is a perpetual heater. Great for our cold winters not so much so in the summer. I hope your internal clock gets reset soon so things are back to normal for you.

  13. In the winter, when I'm cold, he spoons me to warm me up. The rest of the time he's too hot to touch! Jet lag is horrible, hope your sleep is back to normal.

  14. Hope you recover from your jetlag soon Meredith. We are definitely spooners. I can't sleep at night unless we start off spooning. Unfortunately I'm the hot one in our bed, so Bear moves away if I start melting too much.

  15. hubby always spoons me as we fall asleep (when he doesn't fall asleep on the couch)...I love that closeness as we first drift to sleep but then we move apart because we both need space to sleep comfortably through the night...and then usually at least one child sneaks into the middle of us in the middle of the night...and she will spoon me pretzel style...so so much for sleeping comfortably - I guess sleep is over-rated. :-)

  16. My H works away from home so we are so accustomed to sleeping apart that it is very difficult to sleep together. It starts out good but he snores worse than you can imagine and I have to roll away and put in the earplugs.
