Getting Back On Track......... Again!

It seems we are always right here.......... talking and getting back on track!  We are away right now for a few days, but will be returning home in the next few days only to be leaving again the first part of next week. Right now I want to stop the world and politely get off. It is just too busy right now. Plus I have a lingering cough that really gets the better of me.

This photo really speaks to me. The couple here are talking. Then other things may or may not happen. They are touching, skin to skin. They look one another in the eye. It may end in a big hug or it may end in a big spanking. Hard to tell from looking at legs and hands. My guess is that it ends in a spanking.

Jack and I are like passing ships in the night. We are each busy doing things. Things are too busy and we need more connection. I need more connection. I think the kind of connection I need most is over a knee like that guy's knee right there. Ttwd is been on the back burner because of all that is going on around us and I do not like that. I told Jack that things are smooth, but they aren't going to stay that way by themselves. Eyebrows up immediately!

We need to just let the rest of the world go by. I will keep you posted as to our reconnection.

Thanks, L.

Meredith

  1. Hi Mere, I hope while you are out that you are having fun! Reconnecting is so very important. I'm sure Jack will reconnect you to the flat of his palm soon enough. Then you will be at peace again. Thinking of you!

  2. Hang in there Mere...I'm sure your tush and Jack's hand are going to be reconnecting soon. Sorry to hear about your cough...pineapple juice is great at helping to stop a cough and suck on vitamin C drops while you're running around...might help. Hang in there. ;)

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

  7. When spankings come too far apart, the void becomes an issue all by itself. Even if you have been an angel, you begin to ache a bit and feel disoriented.

Meredith, I think a good spanking from Jack will take care of that cough and bring you both back to center, too. I like the picture you chose for this post. It speaks volumes about closeness.

  8. Hi Meredith, I am sorry about the cough and that things are too busy lately. Sounds just like it is here at the moment too. Hubby is busy, I am busy and there is not enough time to reconnect. Ew. I loved the passing ships at night, it fits so well as a picture for those times when life gets in the way too much.
I hope you get a wonderful reconnection soon and find back to less busy times. Get well fast!

    hugs

  9. Ttwd is good for many reasons and being disconnected is a big one. I'm sure you and Jack will find the time to put everything back in place again before you head out on your next adventure. He's got you.

  10. Meredith...you have been missed here for sure. Tis the season for nasty colds and such. Put that together with a busy schedule and your just not yourself. I understand the disconnect as we have had our own issues these past several months. As the holidays approach, schedules will only get busier. Take time for you and Jack to reconnect in a way that sets everything right once again. I will get in touch soon.

  13. It's so hard to be in that place, isn't it? I completely resonate with you. It's a great reminder that a good marriage takes work.
