Honoring Our Veterans

November 11, 2014

Veterans' Day is special in our home. Jack served and deployments were long and tough for both of us. He did dangerous things that kept me awake thousands of miles away. Reunions were second honeymoons. The sacrifice of time spent away is what needs to be appreciated by those who did not serve. Say a special prayer for all the spouses caring for home, children and families while loved ones are far away in dangerous places.

A simple thank you said to those in uniform is always appreciated.

Thank a person in uniform. I am going to snuggle with mine.

Thank, L.

Meredith

  9. Beautiful. It's easy to think of the veterans themselves but often forget the parents, husbands, wives, children, brothers and sisters of those that are serving in danger.
