Like A Kid In A Candy Store .............By Jack

Today, Meredith and I stopped for lunch at a nice little California town, Los Gatos.  Wonderful to have a delicious lunch and glass of wine while sitting outdoors at a patio restaurant.  Afterwards, we checked-out some shops and found our way into a Sur La Table kitchen store.  Meredith explored the various dishes, pots and pans, and decorative items.  Me...I was drawn straight to a display with large crocks full of wooden spoons.  Wow!  There were very large and long-handled flat paddles, thin spoons, ladle style, some with slots or holes, and a variety of wood.  So many to choose from!  I was "like a kid in a candy store!"

  3. Interesting how the most innocent looking items can take on a whole new meaning! I would certainly behave Meredith or it is possible Jack could still make that purchase possible....

  13. Meredith, glad you added your comment after! :) I was going to say, he being that happy, you might not ever be able to sit down again! ;) lol You might have to start watching what places you let him visit from now on, hehehe. Maybe even go shopping the next day before each excursion, just in case. ;) HEHHEHE and Jack, that was so adorable. lol. The Duke is not big on shopping for implements, so I found your take very wonderful. :)
